Arlington Neighborhood Accountability Board

Neighborhood Accountability Boards (NABs) are a part of the restorative justice work we do with I.C.A.R.E.

First time, non-violent youth offenders who receive civil citations go before a Neighborhood Accountability Board where they are required to do a variety of actions including, but not limited to: community service, restitution, an apology to their parents and the victim, a note of thanks to the officer for giving them a civil citation instead of arresting them, and research on a topic that is pertinent to making positive changes their life.
